I mainly handle the reception, inspection, and return of customers' vehicles during regular check-ups. Since I started with no experience in maintenance, I was initially unsure of what to do and the work was very challenging. After joining, my senior colleagues taught me about car maintenance, and now I am gradually applying what I've learned. One of the struggles I face is that while my senior colleagues can remove tires in 4-5 seconds, I still take about 10 seconds to do the same. I hope to improve and get faster by practicing more and finding my own rhythm. I want to continue studying and work hard to become a fully qualified mechanic.
Since I joined without experience in maintenance, there were many things I couldn't do and didn’t know. However, it made me very happy to realize that the number of tasks I am entrusted with, and the things I can do with the help of my seniors, have gradually increased. At first, I didn’t expect to be trusted with maintenance tasks, but now I am entrusted with the work I wanted to do from the beginning. Recently, not only am I entrusted with maintenance tasks, but I also get to interact with customers, which makes me confident that I will continue to grow in the future.
When I watched the CEO's video on the company website, I was drawn to the philosophy of valuing both employees and customers. It seems rare to find a company that includes both aspects in their corporate philosophy. For example, some companies focus only on employees or only on customers, but D-Plus includes both, which made me feel that I could challenge my own happiness while also contributing to the happiness of customers. After thinking about my own happiness, I realized that I strongly wanted to work as a mechanic, so a company that would allow me to take on that challenge even without experience seemed to align well with the company's values. I plan to continue pursuing my happiness by working in maintenance at D-Plus.
I recommend learning polite language and phone etiquette early on when interacting with customers and seniors. While you may not use it often before starting your job, it’s never too late to learn. The first opportunity to interact with customers as a company member is when handling phone calls, so if you are a new graduate, practicing phone etiquette during part-time work will help you transition smoothly once you join the company. Also, polite language is something you are evaluated on during interviews, so make an effort to master it now and use it to stand out during the interview. I look forward to working with you! Good luck!
