Why I Chose D-Plus
I chose D-Plus because of its work environment. On the recruitment website, it mentioned, "Supervisors consult with subordinates when they don't know something. Even with hierarchical roles, collaboration is the norm." This caught my attention. To me, a healthy relationship between supervisors and subordinates, where anything can be discussed, is crucial. A good work environment fosters collaboration and supports company growth. Without good interpersonal relationships, work efficiency and even company revenue might decline. Staying true to its philosophy, "Pursuing happiness for employees and customers through service," D-Plus was the right choice for me.
What I Learned from Training
After joining, I attended a one-week training program. It started with a session for building relationships, where we shared and discussed various topics—it was enjoyable. Then, there were guidance sessions on creating a good impression, understanding corporate etiquette, and effective customer interaction. We also learned about vehicle maintenance, including car washing and monthly inspections.
Impressions Before and After Joining
Before joining, I was worried about the company’s environment despite what was written on their website. Being a foreign student, I feared my imperfect Japanese might inconvenience my colleagues. However, after joining, I found the supportive and collaborative environment exactly as described. Everyone was kind, helpful, and always greeted me with a smile.
Advice for Newcomers
During university, I started job hunting late and struggled to secure offers. After entering graduate school, I started early and focused on finding a role that suited me. When interviewing, focus on being yourself and look for companies that genuinely listen and understand you. D-Plus stood out because of how attentively the interviewers listened, making me feel valued. Start early, stay confident, and look for a company that aligns with you.
