Why I Chose D-Plus
The reason I chose D-Plus was that during my job search, I found an administrative position related to cars that matched my preferences on Mynavi. Initially, I only knew the company name, but after watching the company introduction video, I became interested. During my first interview, I felt the most enthusiasm for the work from the HR person I spoke with compared to other companies, which made me want to join here. Also, I liked the fact that the company evaluates you based on your efforts.
Reason for Choosing the Car Industry
There are two reasons I chose this industry. The first is that many people own cars, and since they are an essential part of daily life, I believed the demand for them would always remain steady. The second is that cars are constantly being developed with new technologies, such as autonomous driving and environmentally friendly cars. I thought it would be interesting to work in an industry that constantly evolves, offering a bit of change to the work rather than dealing with the same thing all the time.
What I Learned from Training
In training, I learned various basic manners such as how to exchange business cards, handle phone calls, and respond to emails. I experienced handling a phone call, where I learned the importance of speaking clearly and loudly, as well as the difficulty of understanding what the other person wants to convey. I also realized how difficult it is to communicate your thoughts to others. During store training, I learned how to greet customers, ask for their requests, and explain leasing during customer service. In the maintenance training, I had the opportunity to personally inspect a car. I also learned that car washing, which seemed easy, is actually a physically demanding task.
Impressions Before and After Joining
Before joining, I thought the workplace would be full of young people and have an energetic atmosphere, and that it would be a place where my efforts would make a difference. I also thought the people would be competitive and hard to talk to, but when I actually saw the work environment during store training, I realized that this was not the case at all. Employees were working in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which changed my impression. Other than that, the company met my expectations.
Advice for Newcomers
There will be many challenges, such as interviews and application forms, but I believe the best thing is to find a company that you feel satisfied with and work for them, so do your best without regrets. During interviews, it's important to speak clearly and express your opinions confidently.
