The Warmth of the Company and Its Philosophy Were Decisive Factors

Why I Chose D-Plus

After obtaining my driver’s license, I developed a new hobby: driving. When considering which industry to pursue for employment, I decided I wanted a job related to something I enjoyed, leading me to explore the automotive industry. At a joint briefing session, out of many companies I looked into, the vibrant booths and cheerful employees of D-Plus caught my attention. I decided to apply for an interview with D-Plus after being impressed by their management philosophy: "Taking on the challenge of happiness for employees and customers through services," emphasizing that a happy workforce leads to happy customers. Though initially nervous about a one-on-one interview, I was surprised by the casual, discussion-like format. The recruiter genuinely listened to me attentively. The warmth I felt from the first impression to the interview, combined with their management philosophy, was what ultimately made me decide to join D-Plus.

What I Learned from Training

Immediately after joining, I participated in a business etiquette guidance session. We learned about seating order in quizzes, different types of greetings, proper ways to exchange business cards, and handling phone calls, through practical exercises. Regarding my concerns about computer skills, we reviewed the basics of email writing, Excel, and PowerPoint, engaging in exercises like sending emails and creating documents. At the store training, I learned about D-Plus as a company and practiced sales role-playing based on actual manuals. We even experienced car washing. Working in groups, we aimed to complete it within 10 minutes, finishing in around 7 minutes. However, we realized that precision and speed are both essential after noticing water spots remained.

Impressions Before and After Joining

Before joining, I felt the office was clean and bright, with a polished atmosphere. After joining, I understood why. D-Plus conducts daily "environment maintenance" across headquarters and stores. This involves cleaning the office and organizing supplies, ensuring the workplace remains tidy and welcoming. Starting the day in such an environment leaves a positive impression, adding to my favorable opinion after joining.

Advice for Newcomers

As mentioned, D-Plus interviews are more like casual discussions, allowing you to speak honestly about yourself. This applies to interviews at other companies as well—if you can express your genuine thoughts and passion to the interviewer, the rest depends on how they perceive you. Personally, I paid close attention to grooming and language. They say first impressions are made within three seconds. Consider starting with a bright smile and a confident greeting to leave a good impression.
