Why I Chose D-Plus

The reason I chose D-Plus is that I was seeking opportunities in the automotive industry during my job search and found a recruitment posting on Mynavi. I was already familiar with the company name and knew there was a location near my home. After watching the company introduction video, my interest grew, and when I attended the first interview, the HR representative kindly provided supportive guidance. It was the first time I had experienced such a considerate approach from a company, which greatly strengthened my desire to join D-Plus.

Reason for Choosing the Automotive Industry

My interest in the automotive industry began when I accompanied a friend who was considering purchasing a car. When I later had the chance to ride in that car, I saw the joy on my friend’s face and realized how satisfied they were with their purchase. Witnessing how such a significant purchase could bring so much happiness to a customer sparked my interest in working in the automotive industry.

What I Learned from Training

In the training program, I learned business manners such as telephone etiquette and exchanging business cards, as well as the details of car leasing and how to conduct business negotiations. During the store training, I actually had opportunities to exchange business cards and speak directly with customers, so I was very glad to have learned these skills in advance. In addition, at the head office, I was introduced to the work of each department, which allowed me to gain a clear understanding of the wide range of roles within the company.

Impressions Before and After Joining

During the interview, I observed the head office and felt that there were many young employees. Seeing them interact with one another gave me the impression that the company had a bright and positive atmosphere. After joining, I found that the workplace was even more cheerful than I had imagined, and the managers are also very approachable. Whenever I have questions, I can easily ask for help and receive thorough guidance.

Advice for Newcomers

What I believe is most important is never neglecting communication with others. During interviews, people look at who you are as a person, and after joining the company, it becomes essential to have the ability to ask questions whenever you do not understand something. In customer service, it is also important to listen carefully and grasp what the other person truly wants to say. Personally, when I handle phone calls or speak with customers, I make an effort to take notes and think about the key message they want to convey while conversing, though I find it very challenging. I believe that by developing not only the ability to speak but also the ability to listen, we can build confidence.
